Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing (NCAT)

Admissions Overview

Admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN – 4-Year Program) are regulated by PN&MC and the Government of Sindh. All candidates must qualify NCAT.

Citizenship & Gender

  • Applicant must be a Pakistani citizen.

  • Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

  • Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks (Biology, Chemistry, Physics compulsory).

  • Matriculation (Science Group) with Biology, Chemistry, Physics as compulsory subjects.

Age Limit

  • Minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years at the time of admission.

Domicile

  • Private Sector Colleges: Domicile from any district of Pakistan is acceptable.

  • Public Sector Colleges: Sindh domicile and PRC (Permanent Residence Certificate) required.

Entry Test Requirement

Must qualify the NCAT (STS) with at least 40% passing marks to be considered for merit ranking.

Component Weightage
NCAT Test Score 50%
Intermediate (Pre-Medical) 40%
Matriculation (Science) 10%
Total 100%
